Our staff have some of the biggest smiles in Carthage! It’s because we’re excited to be here and are eager to see you, too. With five full time hygienists who specialize in cleaning teeth and a full support staff of assistants and administrative coordinators, you’ll find every one you meet here has the skills and answers you need to feel at ease.

Hygienists:

Our team of Registered Dental Hygienists specialize in prevention and education: their goal is to help you prevent cavities and gum disease. All five of our hygienists hold either an Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science from Missouri Southern State University and passed a rigorous state exam and national board exam. Registered Dental Hygienists are licensed to clean above and below the gumline, administer anesthetic and nitrous, and gather all information needed to determine if a patient has gum disease.

Assistants:

Each doctor has a team of hand-picked assistants who support them during fillings, extractions, ortho adjustments, emergencies, and all other appointments. After working alongside our dentists, each of our assistants takes courses and tests to become Missouri-certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistants. Assistants take x-rays and impressions, sculpt temporary crowns and bridges, and make your visit as comfortable as possible.

Administrative:

Our team of coordinators at the front desk will help you schedule appointments, answer questions about finances, and file insurance claims on your behalf. Anytime you wonder what to expect at an appointment, whether it’s the procedure itself or the fees for your appointment, just call ahead of time. Whether you’re familiar with our office or brand new to the practice, our friendly coordinators will help you feel comfortable every time you call in or come in.
