Doctors

Doctors Mark F. Saladin, Louis M. Drackert, and Jack G. Robbins offer some of the finest general dentistry in the area.

Dr. Mark Saladin—Missouri Dental Board

Dr. Mark Saladin grew up in southwest Missouri, graduating from Greenwood High School in Springfield when mullets were popular for the first time. He went on to Southwest Missouri State University for undergrad work and then Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. During that time and through the early part of his dental career, Dr. Saladin also served as a combat engineer officer for 12 years with the Army National Guard.

He and his wife, Dr. Sarah Saladin, have called Carthage home since 1994 and can’t think of a more perfect place to raise their three children, Amanda, Christopher, and Michael. When not at the office, Dr. Saladin is usually in a field or on a boat.

Currently serving a five year appointment to the Missouri Dental Board, Dr. Saladin was elected as the Board’s President for June 2011 – June 2012.

Dr. Louis Drackert

Born and raised in Kansas City, Dr. Louis Drackert is a life-long Chiefs fan. After graduating from Missouri State University with a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, he went on to graduate with a DDS degree from UMKC School of Dentistry in 2007.

Dr. Drackert is active with the Carthage Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club, and a member of numerous professional associations, including the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Springfield Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.

He enjoys biking, running, swimming, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family. Sabrina, Dr. Drackert’s wife, is a Carthage native. They are expecting another child in April, 2012 to join their daughter, Mischa, and yellow lab, Cayman. So far Dr. Drackert has discovered housebreaking a lab is easier, but nothing is better than his little girl’s giggle.

Dr. Jack Robbins

Sooner born and Sooner bred, Dr. Jack Robbins hails from Stillwell, Oklahoma. He received his undergraduate degree from Northeastern State University in Tallequah, Oklahoma and went on to complete his DDS at the University of Tennessee Dental School. He now focuses almost exclusively on orthodontic treatment and enjoys studying new developments in the orthodontic field.

He settled in Carthage in 1969. He and his wife, Mareese, raised two daughters and are now proud grandparents of four boys. In between activities with the Carthage Rotary Club and Fairview Christian Church, he enjoys his semi-retirement by fishing, gardening, and traveling more. His biggest flaw is that he doesn’t think he has any…but then, it’s hard to be humble when you’re a Sooner.
